The video even highlights what appears to be the best Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair review on the internet (as Reviews Editor at Nintendo Enthusiast, though, I might be a little biased in that assessment). The video shows that, in the eyes of the critics, at least, Playtonic got things right this time around after the initially divisive Yooka-Laylee. Perhaps in case people still are not sure about bothering to try the game out–downloads can be a pain, after all–the tweet revealing the demo also has a brief accolades trailer. Xbox players are unfortunately looking at a big, fat “TBA” instead of a release date. We do not have any details on how much and what sort of content from the game will be spotlighted, but we do know that the demo comes to Steam this week on January 23 while PS4 and Switch will have it on January 30. The developer just took to Twitter to announce that their heavily acclaimed 2D platformer will have a demo roll out on Steam and consoles in the near future.
